Gibsons Legion Parking Lot Painting Party

I cannot thank enough those of you who took the time to help us get some of the lines repainted in the Legion Parking Lot today. We started at 8:00 a.m. and finished at 11:30 a.m. At that point, it was too hot to do anything more; otherwise, our volunteers could have gone down with heatstroke. At least the lines all around the building were completed; now we only have to finish the outer areas. Another day, another time.

Our grateful thanks go to the following volunteers: Organizers: Tom Stenner; Tom’s company, Active Marine Towing, paid for half the paint. You have been so generous to us since you came on board. Lunch supplied by Leanne Waldie, and I helped; I also brought the essential Coffee and doughnuts!
