After a lengthy break , Mindil Beach is back with their third record “ Vol III” . recording began in 2014 , however the project ultimately got shelved as the band decided to go on an indefinite hiatus . Recording resumed in 2022 and on February 18th the album was released . This will be the bands first show on the Sunshine Coast in 9 years.
They have invited The Atchies, the Sunshine Coast, Alt-rock band fronted by Derek Atchison who delivers heartfelt lyrics with soulful grit, backed by nostalgic soundscapes.
